Privacy Policy
Effective October 27, 2026
This policy explains what happens to the information you share on unhiddenfactory.com. The short version: we only keep what you choose to send us, we use it only for the reason you sent it, and we never sell or share it.
The line-cost calculator
The calculator works in your browser. The numbers you type are not saved unless you ask us to email your results.
If you ask for your results by email, we keep your name, email address, the line or department name you entered and your calculator results. We use them to:
- email your results to you, and
- send you occasional news and updates about UNHIDDEN, which you agree to when you tick the box.
Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it removes you from updates right away. You can also ask us to delete your information at any time through the contact form.
The contact form
When you send a message, we keep your name, email address, the topic and your message so we can read it and reply. Replies come from [email protected] or [email protected].
Website analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect your name or email address.
The website also keeps simple anonymous visit counts (page viewed, referring website, country and device type) for 90 days to understand which content is useful. These counts are not linked to you.
Cookies
The website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Where your information is kept
Information you send is stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this website and sends its emails. It is kept only as long as needed for the purpose above, or until you ask us to delete it.
Fonts
The website loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When it does, your device connects to Google's servers, which can see your IP address, as with any web request. Google's own privacy policy applies to that connection.
Links to other sites
The website links to the book's page on Amazon. Amazon has its own privacy policy.
Children
This website is for manufacturing professionals and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
